On September 4 2009,
Jane-Finch residents hold a petition signing opposing the
Toronto District School Board's decision to have armed
uniformed police officers in high schools in the Jane-Finch
area. Reporter Sabrina Gopaul visits the Jane-Finch
intersection to get the community reaction about having cops
in the schools. Interviews include, Winston LaRose
(Jane-Finch Concerned Citizens Organization), Kurtis Bailey,
Jesse Zimmerman, Kabir Joshi-Vijayan (Newly Organized
Coalition Opposing Police in Schools), and many other
residents.
